If the highlight of Day 1 on Alishan was the stars, then the highlight of Day 2 must be the sunrise and the giant trees:) Often beings cannot help but be amazed by nature. Always. Let the pictures say a thousand words!
Gorgeous view on Alishan. On a good day, you can spot seas of clouds. Not fated to see such wonders that day.
Alishan Post Office. Where I posted a card home 🙂
Spotted across the Alishan National Park. It could be the railway track to take passengers up from Chiayi to Alishan.
One of the train stations in Alishan National Park.
Alishan National Park Map.
On top of the world!
Was freezing at high altitudes so we decided to hide in the tour bus. Can still feel the brightness! 🙂
Giant Tree. Need a few people to dance around it!
Very very old trees.
See how the giant trees grow!
Last shot of greens outside hotel room.
Fen Chi Hu. Mid-point between Chiayi and Alishan.
What’s for lunch?
Lunchbox. Taiwanese style. Very sumptuous!
Shops at Fen Chi Hu old town.
Railway Museum. A good place to spend time while waiting for the train.
I did capture my thoughts about Alishan randomly over the years in my other blog. The post 阿里山 is in Chinese, and I felt better expressed my memories about Alishan. Click here to read it if you like to!
